Its cold. Its nearly December. Its dark when I wake up so i don't get up and then when I do its dark again.
Hard to get motivated so I need a goal to focus on. I am eating a lot and not really burning it off. Then the mmood suffers and I torture insects and cats.
Went for a run today and lasted 1/2 hour before I had to walk. Crazy!
So heres the plan.
I want to do a 10k run in below 45 mins. My last 10k race was 54 mins I think, that was 5 years ago.
My mother bought me some lovely winter tights and assorted running gear that makes me look like a modern day jogging Robin Hood. So I will put it to use.
I will chronicle my efforts in one weekly 10k run and 2 or 3 shorter sessions with circuits and sprints.
So DAY 1 was 7.5 kms in 1 hour. Shouldn't be hard to beat! I am still hopeful of playing ski season in Austria in Jan (getting a lot of skiing done too) and running a Marathon in Paris or Rome in the spring.
